Discover Corps Discover Corps logo

A smaller international tour operator hired GTM for a more complex array of duties that includes 36 stories per year (with SEO and social media support), blog management (uploading/formatting stories on their site), managing their Facebook and Twitter accounts, and consulting on branding and marketing strategies. We also provide Public Relations and Sustainability Consulting services.

Client Feedback

“The Green Travel Media team’s professionalism and expertise has been a huge asset for our rapidly growing tour company. I like that they offer a turnkey service, providing content/SEO/social media/influencer marketing strategy, blog management, branding consulting, managing our Facebook and Twitter accounts, and submitting regular reports. Other than a monthly strategy meeting, they really take the ball and run with it.

As an expert in ecotourism and responsible travel, Bret Love understands the essence of our brand identity and provides ongoing sustainability consulting. When one of our former suppliers drew negative feedback, he quickly responded as a PR spokesperson and suggested a more sustainable option, with whom we now partner. In short, Green Travel Media has become a valuable part of the Discover Corps team.”

International Expeditions

Rebranding during its 35th year as a leading eco-tour operator, this co-founder of The International Ecotourism Society wanted to establish deeper ties with its loyal customer base, expand its website’s audience to bring in new clients, and use innovative approaches to content and social media marketing to build brand awareness.

Client Feedback

“Since partnering with Green Travel Media, IEtravel.com has seen a 107% increase in page views on our blog posts and a 120% increase of people entering our website via blog content from search engines and social media. These numbers emphasize just how important the partnership aspect of this relationship is to IE, rather than a pure content-creation contract. GTM posts are rapidly becoming the most trafficked pages on our website, generating over 10,000 page views so far [after posting 10 stories].”

Costa Rica Tourism Board (ICT)

Costa Rica was an early ecotourism pioneer, prioritizing sustainable travel and conservation back in the 1990s. We proposed a coordinated press trip campaign (dubbed #EcoCostaRica) that sent five of the world’s top travel bloggers to explore the country for five days and generate stories about its current ecotourism offerings. Other members of our team provided social media support for the project.

Client Feedback

“The professional team of bloggers led by Mr. Bret Love came to Costa Rica for a press trip developed to address different angles, such as culture, adventure, gastronomy, health/wellness, ecology and others. When the team arrived, all of them were characterized by their professionalism, and the itineraries were performed according to plan very effectively. Almost immediately the bloggers started to upload stories and photos on their websites, sharing the experiences they had during their stay. We greatly appreciate their visit and the results of their work. Even today (a year later), these professionals are still talking about the trip to their followers and writing articles in different media outlets, which is great for us.”

Rhinos Without Borders

GTM’s first pro bono charity campaign was a fundraiser for Rhinos Without Borders, an initiative launched by National Geographic Explorers-In-Residence Dereck and Beverly Joubert to save endangered Rhinos by translocating 100 of them from South Africa to Botswana to protect them from the tragic rise in poaching.

Client Feedback

“A massive thank you to your whole team for your incredible effort for Rhinos Without Borders. I have been keeping track of your incredible campaign and the money you raised is going to make a great difference to the cause, thank you!!!  The exposure you have created along the way for the initiative has also been extremely valuable in raising awareness of the plight of rhinos and our project of hope. You have been a pleasure to work with, and I hope we can work with each other again in the near future.”
